Invisalign
This is the technique in which, instead of braces,
custom-made clear aligners are used. They are manufactured in a specialised laboratory in America, using high-tech digital software and advanced materials. They are fitted onto the teeth, moving them progressively towards the desired position. Invisalign aligners can offer an amazing smile,
remaining "invisible" throughout the treatment. A key advantage is that they are not visible and patients get used to them very quickly! The patient removes the aligners to eat and brush their teeth, so there are no food restrictions, while proper oral hygiene can still be maintained. They are increasingly chosen by teenagers and adults. They can also often be used on children. They are an excellent choice for those with an active social life, professional obligations, and who want to straighten their teeth. They improve the smile without affecting daily life.

Lingual Braces
The high demand for aesthetic orthodontic treatment created the need to place orthodontic appliances on the inner (lingual) surface of the teeth. This is how "Lingual Orthodontics" was born. With this method, almost the entire range of orthodontic irregularities can be corrected. The aesthetic appearance is excellent, since no orthodontic appliance is visible from the outer side of the teeth. Lingual braces are technologically advanced and customised for each patient, so that they follow the anatomy of the lingual surface of the teeth. They are usually smaller in size compared to conventional braces, less bulky, with smooth and rounded edges, so that they are more easily accepted by the patient.
Metal Braces
Made of stainless steel, they are the most popular orthodontic treatment mechanism for children and teenagers. By attaching to the outer surface of the teeth and combined with elastic ligatures in various colours, they give a cheerful look to the face. Together with the wires connecting the brackets to each other, they cause precise movement of the teeth in the desired direction. Their current form bears no resemblance to the old one, as they are now smaller and more discreet.
Removable Orthodontic Appliances (Retainers)
During jaw growth, a period when baby and permanent teeth coexist, certain skeletal problems (narrow upper jaw, upper or lower jaw prognathism, crossbite) can be successfully treated with these orthodontic appliances. Such an intervention, which usually concerns a small percentage of children, is most often carried out using removable appliances — retainers or aligners (Invisalign First). Treatment in these cases often also reduces the likelihood of permanent tooth extractions later on. Patients of this age accept these orthodontic appliances relatively easily.
